RHS AIM Club

December 10th

Last Friday, December 3rd, we took part in the Asheboro Christmas parade. Everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed sharing the experience with youths from all other Randolph County. I will post pictures as soon as I receive them!

We will now meet during Tiger time in Trailer 18 on Fridays. Those of you who are involved in more than one club may pick which one you want to meet with.

Mrs. Taylor and I have some fun activities for us to share. No more talking about plans! We will just enjoy our time together!

Next Friday, December 17th, we are organizing a soccer tournament on the practice field. Meet right after school (1PM). We will play until 2:30. Come and bring a friend. If we have enough girls, they will play a game too.

Membership and T-shirt money has been collected. We will be ordering shirts soon.

We decided to join the Latino coalition for the Christmas parade on December 8th.

Pep Rally Games:
Yadira and Augusto will be representing the AIM club in the cornhole competition. Wish them luck!

The other students who wanted to participate will have a chance to do so! Other games are scheduled on Wednesday October 6th and Friday October 8th! Be ready!

Upcoming events:
Dia de la Raza is this coming Sunday. I will see you there.

RMS tutoring is starting. Transportation is provided for students to go back home. Mr. Williamson (the girl's soccer coach) is leading this initiativ...

**DUES - Each club member is being asked to pay $5.00 each.

This amount is to be paid to Mr. Kout.

We will be ordering club t-shirts and this will defer the cost of that expense.

Ask for donations from your friends, neighbors, and teachers.

Volunteering for Big Sweep (September 25th from 9Am to 11AM) at the deep river trail

Tutoring students at the middle school (Mr. Platt's initiative)... starting October 4th... more information to come later
